Description:

The Acousticon Model C-2 is a single microphone carbon bearing hearing aid made by Dictograph Products Inc., in New York City, in 1937. It has a bone conduction head piece with band, battery connection, amplifier, and pocket regulator. This example, Serial No. 6323, was donated to the Smithsonian in 1939.
