Dental Plate and Teeth


Patent model for Nathaniel C. Fowler, “Improvement in Artificial Teeth,” U.S. Patent 46,345 (Feb. 14, 1865). Fowler was a dentist in Yarmouth Port, Ma. His improvement involved attaching teeth to aluminum plates by means of hard vulcanized india-rubber.
