Dental Plugger


Dental plugger with “Snow and Lewis / No. 3 / B.D.M. Co. / Buffalo, N. Y. / No. 827” inscriptions. George B. Snow (1835-1923) and Theodore G. Lewis (1836-1920) were dentists in Buffalo, N.Y., who formed a partnership in 1866 and began manufacturing dental mallets. The following year they, along with E. T. Whitney and George E. Hayes, formed the Buffalo Dental Manufacturing Co.
