Grypotonograph

Description:

A paper lid in the lid of this wooden box reads in part “GRYPOTONOGRAPH NACH DR. VON RECKLINGHAUSEN.” A grypotonograph, a combination of a sphygmograph and a crypotonograph, maps blood pressure phases and the contour of the impulses in these phases. Heinrich von Recklinghausen (1867-1942) was a German physiologist.
