Description (Brief):

Woodcut on heavy plate paper, ivory; deckle at top edge. [Frau Professor G.] Pencil signed ‘E. L. Kirchner’ at lower right; ‘Eigendruck’ in pencil at lower left. Block is printed at a slight angle with very little lower margin of paper below the image. Stamp on verso: ‘Nachlass E. L. Kirchner’, printed in purple ink, with handwritten additions in ink, ‘H 250 IV’ within the ruled border of the stamp. Several other numbers written in pencil on verso: K 9889, No. 9194, and 955y.
