This postcard showing "San Gabriel Mission, California" was published as lithography by the Detroit Publishing Company in about 1914. The postcard was published as number 12688 of a series of 12000.

Description (Brief)

From the late 1890s to 1905, the firm was known as the Detroit Photographic Company. Subsequently until the company liquidated their assets in 1932, the firm became the Detroit Publishing Company. William Henry Jackson became the plant manager in 1903, but he did not see the success the firm in the late 1890s due to declining sales during WWI.
