Rotary Style Food Mixer

Description:

Rotary style egg beater made of sheet metal. Large steel crankwheel mounted on upper framework, set vertically between two smaller cog wheels which enable the mixing motion when cranked by the coiled wire crank grip. Two bulb-shaped mixing components, each with four wings (bent sheet metal). Bent sheet metal handle at top. Crank wheel is marked: "LADD BEATER/ PAT'D JULY 7, 1908/Feb. 21, 1915/No O/NEW YORK, U.S.A./UNITED ROYALTIES CORP."

Patent Number US 892856 A, by Earnest W. Ladd, of Washington, District of Columbia, for "EGG BEATER".
