OS+A 50th Anniversary, Jeton, Russia


Minted in Russia in 1887 this medal commemorates the 50th Anniversary of OS+A during the reign of Alexander II. Alexander II ruled Russia from 1855-1881 and was affectionately known as The Liberator because he emancipated the serfs.
