Ph. Le Bas / a Paris chez J. Ph. Le Bas, graveur du Cabinet du Roy, rue de la Harpe” and “D. Teniers pinxit” and “J. Ph. Le Bas Sculp.”

David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Flemish artist who painted several images of chemists and alchemists. Jacques Phillipe Le Bas (1707-1783) was head of the largest engraving workshop in Paris in the eighteenth century.
