J.A. Ferrell Fishing Floats Patent Model

Description:

Fishing floats developed by John A. Terrell of Bloomfield, KY. The models, representing "Improvements in floats for anglers" were supplied to the United States Patent Office in conjunction with patent no. 220,776, dated February 2, 1869.

Between 1790 and1880, a submitted working model was required as part of the U.S. Patent application process.
