Don Shula played defensive back in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Colts and Washington Redskins before embarking on a highly successful coaching career. Shula served as the Head Coach for the Colts from 1963-1968, leading the team to the NFL Championship his final season. He would take the Miami Dolphins head coaching position in 1970, a role he would hold until 1995. Shula won consecutive Super Bowls with the Dolphins (VII (1973), VII (1974), a run which included an undefeated season (1972-1973.) Over the course of his career, the Pro Football Hall of Famer set numerous records, including most wins as a head coach in the NFL.
