A "Fine Craft" spinning wheel; made by Steven A. Foley, of Oregon; 1975. Black walnut, machine and hand carved spinning wheel. Brass and steel hardware, joined, oiled and waxed. Exhibited at the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery in the juried exhibition tittled "Craft Multiples", from July 4, 1975 through February 16, 1976.
