Free blown glass holiday or Christmas ornament, in a cauldron shape: acorn-shaped body with lip at top around large opening. Free-blown spikes around outside of body. Clear glass painted in thick red, white, and blue stripes, wrapped in crinkle tinsel wire, with thin plied wire knotted at top and tied with black thread for hanging. Stuffed with pink tissue paper. No mark. These were generally produced in Germany prior to 1940.
