Description:

Armstrong model of Schuknecht Gelfoam & Wire prosthesis, designed as a substitute for a stapes bone. Edward W. Stevenson, Jr., the donor of this item, was an otolaryngologist in Birmingham, Al. He purchased it from Richards Manufacturing Co., in Memphis.
