Earl Battey was one of many players featured on collectible coins made by Topps and included in packs of baseball cards.

Catcher Earl Battey played Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox (1955-1959) and Washington Senators/ Minnesota Twins (1960-1967.) A five time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove recipient, Battey had a lifetime .270 lifetime batting average with 104 home runs and 449 runs batted in.
