A length of printed dress fabric, probably acrylic, plain weave, lightweight challis quality. Printed with an "Indienne" inspired design of exotic leaves and blossoms in red and black on white. Manufactured by Onondaga Silk Mills, 1950-70. Possibly made in the Pennsylvania mill. There is a selvedge inscription "Onondaga Silk Co." This is a late example of American textile mill production, post-World War II when synthetic fibers supplanted natural fibers for many products.
