This is the fruit stand that the Mori family operated. When many Japanese immigrants came to the United States, a common job that they adopted was farming. It didn't require an American education and it was easily accessible to the new immigrants from Japan. Mori's family followed that trend and eventually opened up a roadside fruit stand that spanned generations.
This picture shows the entire family that worked at the fruit stand. They would eventually go to the Rowher incarceration Camp in Arkansas after Executive Order 9066 was signed.
