National Master's medal for track and field awarded to Rudolf Bredenbeck at the Lake Erie Indoor Championships on January 8, 1984 for 3rd Place. Rudolf Bredenbeck (1931-2016) competed in long jump and shot put in high school (Brooklyn High School, Brooklyn, Ohio) and college (University of Cincinnati) but began competing in track and field events later in life, when his daughter Julie BredenbeckCorp (nee Bredenbeck)(b.1962) began competing in high school. He continued to compete in the Masters Division and the senior Olympics and was inducted into the Ohio Senior Olympics Hall of Fame's inaugural class in 2007.
