Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, was a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. This button was collected at the Buttigieg headquarters in Columbia prior to the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary on February 29, 2020. Buttigieg finished 4th in South Carolina. He withdrew the next day and endorsed Joe Biden who went on to win the nomination and the election.
