"Double Litre" Measure

Description:

Handleless, lidless cylindrical metric measure with heavy molded rim and base. Stamped on front of body "DOUBLE LITRE" in incuse serif letters and with a small imperial crown below rim. Flat bottom struck once with touchmark "FAUVEAU-LORIN (arched) / RUE S\TE MARGUERITE (arched) / S[???]" in incuse serif letters. One of an assembled set of seven metric measures, DL*67.0303-.0309.
