Large, lidless, bracket-handled cylindrical metric measure with heavy molded rim and base. Stamped on front of body "DOUBLE LITRE" in incuse serif letters; on outside of rim and face of handle with "1" next to clasped hands in an elongated hexagon; and along top of rim with 58 letters and shapes. Flat bottom struck once with a shaped touchmark of a sun over an undecipherable motif between the raised serif letters "AP" and "AP", surrounded by three stars and three crowns.
