Bristol High or West Country measure; half pint size. Tall conical or elongated ovoid body; plain everted rim with pouring spout; molded, flared foot. Tapered, S-scroll handle has an arched and tongued thumbrest; upper terminal attached at top of rim and short lower terminal near center of body. Rim interior stamped with two Victorian verification marks for Bristol, "V (crown) R / 490", one large and one small, and "1/2 PINT" in serif letters. Rim exterior with one partial crowned verification mark and "1/2 PINT" on the sides, and a circular City of Bristol verification mark under spout.
