Plain baluster measure with a galleried rim and flared base; missing lid. Half gallon size. Slender, strap handle with hinge lug and stepped thumbrest; short terminal with circular strut. Rim exterior stamped to right of handle with a small, incuse circle containing the raised serif letters "ES" separated by a four-lobed motif with pellet above and below, and a partial mark possibly of a crown over an "N" in conforming surround, placed sideways. Illegible circular mark on top of handle. Bottom exterior is incised around perimeter "*WILLEM*BOGADVS* 15 APRIL - ANNO 1694*" and stamped incuse "EB(?)" in a rectangle; the serif letters "IL" are lightly scratched at center.
