Half Noggin and Quarter Noggin Measure

Description:

"Egg-cup" measure; half noggin and quarter noggin sizes. Plain rims. Larger cup is stamped "1 HALF NOGGIN" in incuse serif letters with verification marks along rim exterior, including a crowned "[?]R", "K.C / N\o 3" and "V[(crown) R] / 595", all incuse. Rim exterior of smaller cup is stamped twice "[V (crown) R] / 595".

Crowned "VR" mark for Wigtown Burgh ("595").
