Pot-bellied measure with a tongued, scroll thumb piece, engraved "IT.MF" in serif letters on belly to right of handle; Scot's pint size. Ridged, wedge extension is burnt to the flat-domed lid, which has one incised circle around center and a pair near rim. Body has a molded, flared rim and convex pedestal base with two incised lines around neck, three at shoulder, and two around base. S-scrolled handle with five-knuckle hinge, ridged thumbrest and unusual, pyramid-top bud terminal; conical strut. Interior with plouk or pimple below rim indicating capacity level. Flat bottom has one incised circle outside and circular touchmark of Lachlan Dallas of Inverness inside.
