Lidless baluster measure with a galleried rim, flared base, and blind hinge lug; half pint size. Two incised lines around rim, one at foot, and two pairs around body. Plain strap handle with pointed lower terminal and cylindrical strut. Rim exterior is stamped on front "1/2 PINT", with crowned "VR" and "ER" verification marks for Aberdeen City ("146"), "AIC(?)" in a rectangle, and "08" to the right; City of Aberdeen verification mark is to left of handle.
The blind hinge lug is thought to be an Aberdeen feature.
