Bright cut Old English ladle having a large circular bowl and downturned, flared and rounded handle with back midrib; no shoulders. Engraved on front with a zig-zag border and scalloped oval reserve containing a foliate script "P", oriented widthwise, above a pendant 4-petaled flower and leaves. Swage-formed faceted pyramid and two concentric drops on back of bowl, with bright-cut decoration between the drops. Struck three times on back of handle, in reverse directions, "B&M" in raised serif letters in a scalloped rectangle.
