Pear-shaped or "Queen Anne" teapot on short, circular foot ring with a high-domed hinged lid topped by urn knop; spurred D- or ear-shaped, wood handle pinned into conical sockets; and faceted S-scroll spout with flat oval lip. Bead borders applied around rim of lid and shoulder of body; molded bands at rim and seam of body. Body perforated at spout. Inside of flat bottom is struck with a crowned "X" mark above a circular "LOVE" touch mark with lovebirds touching beaks; both marks effaced.
