Chest

Description:

Comb-painted pine chest. Single-paneled front with one drawer. Raised convex molding around edge. Ball feet. Two brass drop handles (may be modern additions) on drawer. The initials “LH” are painted just below the keyhole. Thumbnail molding around top of chest. Top, feet, and moldings are painted black. Front and sides of body are painted with parallel wavy lines in black.
