Semicircular piece of stained and varnished wood cut from a quarter-sawn, triangular block and shaped lengthwise along the grain with a concave quarter circle on its longest side and a diagonal face cut evenly across its back right angle; one flat face on back has a V groove running nearly the entire length. Roman letter "S" appears to be stamped on the hollow face.
