Louis XV-style, gilt-bronze andiron or chenet featuring a putto bedecked with grapevines on his head and body, seated on the left side of a scrollwork structure rising up to the right. He holds up a bunch of grapes in his left hand and looks down to his right or the viewer's left. Constructed of multiple, cast parts screwed together.
