Rounded rectangular case relief-engraved on lid and underside with dense foliate scrollwork accented by grotesques; an empty, curvilinear shield is at one corner of the inset, snap-closure, hinged lid. Gold washed interior. Angled, pointed tab across lid front. Front of lid collar and inside bottom both struck with four marks, "G.A.S." in incuse sans serif letters, a hexagonal right-facing Diana head (Dianakopf) with "2" and "A", a combined crescent moon and imperial crown in a surround (Reichsmark), and "900".
