Lidded, incurved or waisted pitcher on an arch-handled stand. Pitcher has a reeded waist, C-shape handle with rosette thumb piece, and a domed circular foot; stamped punched geometric designs encircle its upper body and a slightly rounded, hinged lid with ball finial covers its inset, curved, V-shaped spout. Fixed handle on stand ends in cast, wedge-shaped supports attached to a circular dish or saucer with central recess and die-rolled floral band at rim on a short tapered foot ring. Both pieces struck incuse on underside of their flat bottoms with a circular mark containing a pointed shield with balanced scales bordered by "MERIDEN / B. COMPANY" in sans serif letters above "32".
