Description:

Single-reeded circular plate with flat well; no foot ring. Four marks on underside of well: a right-facing lion rampant in shaded pointed shield between the raised sans serif letters "JF" in dotted surround and a crowned "X", with "LON[D]ON" in raised serif letters in a rectangle below. Only lion mark is complete and clean.
