Carving fork, steel. Two-tined with chamfered baluster stem. Hinged kick-stand on underside of stem to set on side of dish. Tines, stem, and tang are one piece of steel. Tang has wooden scales riveted to top and bottom with brass pins to form a block handle with chamfered sides and rounded butt. Bolster is formed by two rectangular pieces of steel welded to stem and mortised into wooden scales. Heavily stained and scratched. Tang is bent. Metal has minor rust spots. Brass is corroded. No mark.
