Copied from a potion of a border of coverlet on Washington's bed at Mr. Vernon, by Miss Sallie Dougherty. Woven with fine, bleached cotton yarn and blue mercerized cotton yarn. The latter dyed by Mary Hagaman, Bakers Gap, TN, in a "blue pot" in which the yeast has not run out in 75 years.
