Fragment or sample of a 4-harness, overshot, coverlet weave in a block pattern, similar to "Sunflower", or "Ladies Delight pattern," formed by floats of the weft material, in 2 shades of brown wool yarn, woven over a tabby or plain weave foundation, made with hand-spun cotton warp and tabby. According to the donor, this fabric came from Edgecombe County, N.C.
