Paisley -style, contonuous supplementary weft-patterned shawl. Probably 1st half, 19th century, British origin - Norwich? Based on 2/2 twill weave. With an allover pattern of small (1 1/2") buta (cones/pines) tightly framed by wavy interlacing bands arranged diagonally. Narrow (1 1/4") bands border the shawl with additional finishing bands on top and botton
