Hand operated cotton gin; 19th century

Description (Brief):

A hand operated Cotton Gin for long staple Cotton, used in Southeast Asia (Siam, now Thailand). Acquired in 1905, along with many other examples of Thai textileworking tools and equipment from the exhibit of the Royal Siamese Commission at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1904.
