Black filet embroidered with polychrome wool and long, tied polychrome wool fringe. Made by Ida Rogosnicki in Kobryn, Russia before 1909 for her trousseau. Brought with her when she emigrated to the United States in 1909. Ida married Ben Wigtow in 1914 in Boulder, Colorado. The donor noted that the shawl was used as a table cover in this country.
