This postcard showing "San Diego Mission Palm, Old Town, and San Diego, California" was photo-mechanically printed, and was published by I.L. Eno in San Diego about 1913. The postcard was published as series number 4375.
The postcard printer, C.T. Photochrom, was a subsidiary of the Curt Teich Company, which operated between 1898 and 1978.
The postcard image shows one of the four palm trees planted around the time of the founding of the mission in 1769. Two of which were sent to Chicago for the World’s Fair in 1892 as part of the horticulture garden.
