Description:

This surgical set belonged to Griffith Jones Scholl (1800-1882), a native of Northampton County, Pa. and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. Two scalpels in the set are marked “BAKER” and a tortoiseshell bistourie is marked “H. G. Kern.”
