A label in the case of this item reads “ACRALAIN / For / CAST JACKETS, BRIDGE PONTICS, / VENEER FACINGS, AND INLAYS/ ACRALITE COMPANY INC. / NEW YORK, N.Y.” Acralain was a dental plastic that was introduced ca. 1935, and that received a trademark in 1941.
