Manchester’s Royal Jubilee Exhibition of 1877 commemorated the 50th year of Queen Victoria’s monarchy. Held in Trafford Park, the Exhibition attracted about 4.5 million visitors between the months of May and October. Subjects of interests were Industrial Design and Processes, Chemistry, Handicrafts, Fine Art and Botany. A special exhibit was a recreation of the streets of Old Manchester and Salford.
