Description
The ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes enumerated the eighteen regular and semi-regular solids, and they are known as Archimedean solids in his honor.
This cut and folded tan paper model has a total of sixty-two faces; twenty triangles, thirty squares, and twelve hexagons. A mark on the model reads: Archimedean (/) Solid XV (/) 62 Faces (/) 20(3)+30(4)+ 12(5). Another mark reads: 20. It is number XV among Wheeler's Archimedean solids and number 20 in his general list of models.
