Geometric Model by A. Harry Wheeler, One-Sided Polyhedron

This cut and glued clear plastic model has a large triangular facet on the bottom, with three equilateral triangles inside it (this facet resembles a regular tetrahedron without a base). Adjacent to each large equilateral triangle, on the outside at the base going upward, is a rectangle. The other side of each rectangle is also the edge of the base of another equilateral triangle, facing upward and inward. Between these three equilateral triangles are three additional rectangles, with a small equilateral triangle at the top. At each bottom corner is a small triangular facet with three equilateral triangles. A plane parallel to the base of the model contains three of these small equilateral triangles (one from each facet) and three trapezoids (one sharing an edge with each of the rectangles going up from the base).
A mark on the model reads: 679. Wheeler also gave this model his number M38.
