Charles A. Durgin, New York City, inventor. Shuttle type sewing machine Patent model; Pat. # 12,902. Model is engraved with C.A. Durgin, New York City by the feed mechanism, and has painted gold inscription "Parker Sewing Machine" along the top of the frame, which is finished in black.
