- Description
- William A. Baum (1891-1964) invented a machine for measuring blood pressure, termed it a Baumanometer and established a firm to make and market it. The inscriptions on this example read “Baumanometer / PAT. PEND.- TRADE MARK REG. / W. A. BAUM CO. INC. NEW YORK” and “PILLING / & SON CO / PHILA.
