Balance
Balance
- Description
- This seems to be a smaller version of the Marble Counter Balance that Troemner described in 1889, noting that the column was of Italian marble and octagonal in shape, and that the form was “once more growing in favor.” The metal section of the column in this example is marked “TROEMNER” and “PHILAD.”
