Description
The inscription on one metal tag near the bottom reads “CONNECTION / TO AIR SUPPLY / USE STRAINER.” That on another reads “H. & M. Automatic Regulator Co. / Patent Apr. 23, 1907 / Rochester, N.Y.” The Hohmann & Maurer Manufacturing Co. became a subsidiary of the Taylor Instrument Co. in 1895.
